I’ve been a fan of blugirl since I’ ve seen the first looks some years ago. I love the mix of a girly, playful style with some Lolita sex appeal.
When I saw the first looks from the S/S 2010 collection my first impression was “Blugirl has grown up” – what a pity as for grown ups there is Blumarine.
Nude colours and some ladylike cuts, nice but not really thrilling, and some grown up looks with leopard prints which were even less thrilling…
But the frustration ended when the usual candy colours poped up paired with leopard or seaside prints….
… and playful poppy dresses hit the runway -extra cute!!
The whole collection might not have been bubbling over with new ideas or innovations but in the end the typical blugirl style was achieved – relief!
