London FW Fall 2010: what caught my eye…

Aquascutum – the incarnation of effortless elegance with some subltly used accents like silver shoes, knotted belts or leather

Fire birds and delicate lace with military lace up boots – there was more tension in Erdem’s collection than usual

Nathan Jeden – there have been more different prints and colours in his collection but I was most impressed by these symphonies in grey.

Basso & Brooke – I was caught by the jackte’s shape – it makes me feel warm and cozy only by looking. I liked the patterns too but I whished they would have used a neutral background. The patterned clothes could not really unfold – at least on the pictures.

I love embroideries especially when they are made like the ones by Christopher Kane. And in combination with plain and patent leather and these naughty boots their kitsch potential was eased
